UNSW Wagga Wagga Medical School

UNSW will commence a 6 year undergraduate Medicine program at the Wagga Wagga campus in February 2021. This may be of particular interest to any prospective students from the Riverina.

 

The UNSW Wagga Wagga Medical School will be holding a Student and Parent Information Session on the 3rd of June 2020 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. 

 

This interactive video conference will help you understand how you can enrol for the 2021 intake of Medical Students at the Wagga Wagga Medical School. In addition you will gain a much better understanding of life as a medical student and Junior Doctor.

 

You will hear from our Medical School academics including, Director of Medical Education, Associate Professor John Preddy, current medical students and recent graduates. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about the program, student life and the application process. 

 

It would be helpful for those registering to watch this presentation which explains the application categories and process.

Digital Careers Expo

The Year 13 Expo lets you find a career you’re genuinely passionate about without even having to get out of bed.

 

Over the course of the week, you’ll hear from experts, chat with influencersand explore

exhibitors from a host of different Universities, TAFEs, Colleges, employers and gap year providers.

 

Through a series of live chats, webinars and online ‘booths’, the Year 13 Expo will help you figure out what it is you’re passionate about and what you need to do in order to get there. Plus we’ve got $5,000 and some amazing mentorship and work experience opportunities up for grabs with the Year 13 Passport.

 

The Digital Careers Expo is up and running now, with the main events being hosted during National Careers Week, May 18-22.

University of Sydney Chemical Engineering Work Experience

The Chemical Engineering faculty offers work experience placements for Year 10 students interested in chemical engineering. 

 

Students are teamed up with either an academic or PhD student to work on a project. For students in year 10.

 

The program will run from the 14-18 September 2020. Applications are open now and close Monday 3 August.
