It has been great to be back making music together with all of the children at Sacred Heart this week. One task that the Grade 3-6 children told me they really enjoyed while learning remotely; was to create a character for a video game or movie. Then they used a free website called Chrome Music Lab to create their own music to represent their character. Here are some of their creations - If you click on the link you can listen to the music to match their character drawing.
Choir
While we are not having Choir together at the moment, children from all year levels have been invited to use the Choir website which has lots of warm ups and songs to sing and enjoy. Some students have also entered our Masked Singer competition!
Everyone at Sacred Heart will be watching videos that the entrants have created using a fun and easy app. called Flipgrid.
During Music over the next few weeks, each class will get the chance to watch the videos and then vote for who they think our talented masked singers are.
Who are Sacred Heart’s Masked Singers??
If there are any students, from any year level that still want to participate as a Masked Singer, they can look at the Fun and Games page on the Choir Website which has details of how to create an entry.
