PBIS Awards

PBIS Award - Week 5

Thankyou to all students  who really worked hard to put their rubbish in the correct bins.  Even though the blitz has finished, please try even harder to put rubbish in the correct bins.

Our new blitz is : ”Taking care of our library”.   We are VERY lucky to have an awesome space to go and relax and read fantastic books.  It seems as though some students are using the library during lunch to play loud games.  Please remember if you are going to the library at lunch, it is for reading and relaxing.  Nerissa would also like to outline a few rules

  • SHHHHHHHHHH quiet please
  • Walking
  • No bouncing balls
  • Please look after and return all books.

Nerissa and the teachers will be giving out lots of PBIS tickets for the next two weeks.

Class tally's will continue next week.

Congratulations to all the students who have earnt 50 PBIS small tickets.  You have shown that you are responsible, respectful, resilient and safe students.

Our PBIS student of the week is from the 3/4 area.

Mrs Bryant thinks that this student is pretty awesome.  Mrs Bryant said that she OOOZE's PBIS qualities.  This student is able to work hard in class and produce fantastic work.  Mrs Bryant also said that this student is a wonderful friend.  Well done Tess Jakobs, keep being awesome!!

PBIS Award - Week 7

Today ends our two week blitz on ‘Respecting our Library’  It was great to see that students were quiet in the library, put their library books in the returns trolley and Put their books back where they found them.  Please keep on respecting our wonderful library.

Our new blitz is ‘Cleaning up after yourself’ - Here are some ideas for you to clean up after yourself:

  • *Putting your workbook, pens and pencils in your locker before you go out to play.
  • *Looking under your table to see if there is any rubbish to put in the bin.
  • *Using your initiative to clean up in your classroom - sometimes, you don’t have to wait for an adult to tell you, you can just do it.  You can even do this as home…..helping out without being asked makes everyone happy!!!

Our PBIS student of the week is from the 3/4 area.

The 3/4 teachers think this student shows a great deal of respect  for the Library, particularly in following the Library rules. She walks quietly around the library and uses the borrowing system properly.  This student also sets a good example for others around her. Well done Tayla Pearce, you should be very proud of yourself.

Congratulations Tayla Pearce on being our PBIS Student of the Week.
