Years 3/4
Year 3/4 News Check
Year 3/4 have had a fabulous first week back. Today in Wellbeing we are learning how to make strong apologies so that we can make strong relationships. We think that this topic is a great thing to learn about. We sat on floor to talk about what apologies mean and then the Year 3/4s wrote some examples.
These are some of our student’s work:
Gail- “O.M.G. I’m so sorry that I hit you. You must have felt so annoyed. I feel so terrible, I promise that I’ll try not to do it again”
Isabella-”I am so sorry for bumping into you! It must have hurt a lot. I feel terrible. I will try to avoid doing it again. I am super sorry, please forgive me!

Year 5/6
Written by students Jaxon and Ethan
First off we would like to wish Marty a great holiday in Ireland.
Now we are going to start with what we have been doing these last few days.
We have started settling in after our holiday and have started right away with Debbie teaching us for the first two weeks of Term Three.
Here now is what me (Jaxon) and Ethan think about coming back from the holidays.
Jaxon: I think it has been refreshing coming back from holidays to see all my friends again and hang around with all my friends that I missed so much.
Ethan: I think it has been a good time getting back with our friends and even though we have a lot of work to get through, it still feels great coming back from the break.
Auslan
Ever since Erin left last year, we have stopped practicing our Auslan until Janine came along. We started doing Auslan with Janine today and we have really liked it so far.
