PFA Popcorn Days
The final PFA Popcorn Friday for the year will be held this Friday, 16th June, for students in Grades 3 - 6.
A big thank you again to all the wonderful parent volunteers who have made Popcorn Day possible this term. A special thanks to co-ordinators Lee Vu and Candice Hall, popcorn production line expert Simone Kondarovskis, and James Kondarovskis and the Superpop Group for the generous donation of the machine.
PFA Popcorn Fridays will be back in Term 3, and we always welcome new helpers. Shifts are listed on SignUp - it’s a fun and tasty way to spend a couple of hours, and be very popular with your kids!
Student Disco - Saturday 22nd July - tickets on sale soon
Get ready to light up the dance floor at the CPS Student Disco on Saturday July 22nd!
Join us at the Dutch Club in Carnegie for a night that will leave CPS students buzzing with excitement.
Prep - Grade 2: 5 - 6pm
Grades 3 - 6: 6:30 - 7:45pm
Prepare yourself for an incredible lineup of music, non-stop grooves and treats.
Mark your calendars and keep your dancing shoes at the ready. Tickets will go on sale in Qkr soon.
We can't wait to see all the students there and dance the night away!
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea - thank you!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Our biggest morning tea at Carnegie Primary School was a huge success!
Our school community is truly amazing!
Help came from every angle! From sending out compass notes to volunteers helping at the school stall, from parents turning up for the Morning Tea at the staff room filled with cupcakes, food to a great money donation! It was a massive effort and we are thrilled that we raised $1668! That's $500 more than last year!
Every dollar goes to the Cancer Council to enable more life-saving cancer research, and ongoing support to patients and their families when they need it most - so no one has to face cancer alone.
That is why our efforts are so important and we will continue to do our bit each year. And if you were part of this year's effort in any way big or small, I hope you feel the joy of being part of something truly life changing.
