NETBALL UPDATE 

 

Grade 3 St K's Vs South Bendigo (Coach Belinda Mertens)

With only 7 games under their belt, the girls worked hard against a strong team implementing the skills learnt at training in their game, focussing on moving the ball through the centre and enthusiastically working together as a team.  Well done girls!

 

Grade 4 St K's GREEN (Coach Christie Rogers)

The girls faced a strong and tall team with confident ball skills, however they focussed on the core passing and game skills developed at training andled forward to control the game. A big thanks to Emmerson Geary who provideda bench substitute due to a shortage of G4 players - thanks Emmerson

 

Grade 4 St K's TEAL (Coaches Belinda Pinner and Meg Gladstone)

The team had a great game and showed strong teamwork and improved gameskills against a strong team.  Zali Betts has been practising goal shootingat home with her new netball ring and the benefits of this was demonstratedin the game with some outstanding shooting skills

 

Grade 5 St K's (Coach Leigh Mertens)

The team faced strong opposition and have a number of new players who arestill developing core netball skills.  The girls played well and as a teamfocussed on the positive outcomes and will continue to work on the coreskills at training.

 

Grade 6 St Ks (Coaches Catherine Chapman and Sarah Carter)

Score 27 - 5 (win for St K's)This strong team continues to lead the competition with confident and welldeveloped passing and game skills.  The girls have really developed wellunder their new coaches and are having a great season - well done girls.The G6 girls paid their respects to a young footballer who passed away last weekend playing football by putting their 'boots out' at the beginning of the game.
