Diocesan Rugby Union Trials and Gary McSweeney Cup
On Friday a team of 12 boys travelled to Tamworth to participate in the Gary McSweeney Cup, which is the Diocesan trials for rugby union.
They won their first 2 games and lost their third but made it into the semi finals, which was a great effort.
Out of the 12 boys 9 made the possible/probables team and from there 4 were selected in the Diocesan team to compete at the NSWCPS Rugby in Forbes at the end of June.
Congratulations to Nash Groth, George Russell, Sam Davies and Gus Simpson.
Athletics Carnival
Our Athletics Carnival is fast approaching and will be held on Thursday 29th June at Donnelly Fields. All students from Kinder to Year 6 are expected to attend the carnival. More details will be sent home to parents closer to the day.
We will need plenty of parent helpers to enable the smooth running of the carnival.
An email has previously been sent asking for helpers, but we have not had much of a response. If you are able to help us out, please complete this form:

NSWCPS Golf Tournament
As we have limited golf players in our Diocese, nominations for Golf have been open since February and will remain open until the end of June.
Congratulations to Benjamin Grosser for being selected to trial for the Polding Golf team due to his impressive Golf experience.
