BOOK OF THE WEEK

The following books were recently featured in our Book of the Week display:

The original heroes from The Lightning Thief are reunited for their biggest challenge yet: getting Percy to college when the gods are standing in his way.

Percy Jackson has saved the world multiple times - battling monsters, Titans, even giants - but these days the modern-day son of Poseidon is hoping for a regular final year at school.

Never a Hero is the brilliant fantasy sequel to the bestselling Only a Monster – by Vanessa Len.

In this thrilling continuation, Joan must re-gather her allies to face an old enemy - as a secret past threatens to unravel everyone's future.

When a deadly attack forces Joan back into the monster world, she finds herself on the run with Nick - as Aaron closes in. Torn between love and family and monstrous choices, Joan must find a way to re-gather her old allies to face down the deadliest of enemies, and to save the timeline itself.

ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIAS

I would like to take this opportunity to remind students and families about the two online encyclopedias that are accessible through the library's catalogue.

The World Book Online encyclopedia is a trusted source of information for students of all ages, with articles, videos, and other multimedia resources.

The Encyclopedia Britannica is also available, which provides comprehensive and authoritative information on a wide range of topics.

The online encyclopedias can be accessed via the Library’s catalogue homepage, in the information box titled Online Resources.

EAST CAMPUS

The bookshelves at East Campus now contain more than 1500 books. Students can grab a book or two and keep them until they are finished with them. There is a mix of fiction, non-fiction and graphic novels.

Any students holding on to books they have finished with, please return them to the shelves for other students to read.

The books at Main Campus Library are also available to students based at East Campus. Students may place reservations via the library catalogue. Reservations are delivered once per week. Student can find more information on the Library’s Google site.
