BODMAS: An acronym used to help identify the order in which to complete equations.

Number sentence: a combination of numbers and mathematical operations that children are often required to solve.

With your child, identify the parts to the following question and see if you can write them as one BODMAS question before solving:

A grade 6 student does 7 different subjects as part of their schooling. If they are in class 25 hours each week and spend only 4 hours on 3 of their subjects, how long does each of the other subjects get allocated?
