School Wide Positive Behaviour Support

School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) is a multi-tiered process for teaching social and behavioural skills so its focus can be on teaching and learning.  Schools have the responsibility to provide an education to all students in a safe and predictable environment.  Establishing a positive, proactive schoolwide discipline plan is a necessary first step for enabling schools to achieve their goals and responsibilities.

This year the school has been accepted into the School Wide Positive Behaviour Support coaching program through the Department of Education.  The Student Engagement and Wellbeing team have started to under some of the professional developments being offered by the Department of Education.

Earlier this year we were asking for feedback from all stakeholders in the school community.  Thank you to those that have already taken the time to complete the survey then.  The link to the survey is included here for parents to complete if they would like - https://forms.office.com/r/MN3CYXLZGA

(If the link does not work please copy and paste it into the address bar of your search engine.)

Staff and students will have a survey to complete also.

Uniform

As the weather is getting colder there have been a few students coming to school in non-uniform items.  Students will need to bring in a note for their Home Group teacher, they will be then given a uniform pass.  The school has many uniform items that they can grab and change into.  Students are reminded that they cannot wear beanies inside and will be asked to remove them just as they are with hats in the warmer months.
