Sir John Monash Annual Commemorative Service

On Friday the 9th August Chandler Taylor,  Michael Van Der Merwe, Zachary Bushby, Komal Gupta, Vishesh Aggarwal, Michael Baptista, Pavan Tumuluru, Bronwyn Brooks, Zahra Mozaffari and Yomashi Siriwardana attended Parliament House along with Principal, Peter Corkill and Business Manager,  Alison Galloway.

We were very lucky and honoured to be a part of the special service. The Sir John Monash Commemorative Service was revived by the Returned & Services League of Australia, Victoria Branch, in 1999 and then hosted by the General Sir John Monash Foundation from 2002 until the Spirit of Australia Foundation was requested to take over responsibility for the Service when it was established in 2005, also at the request of the Monash Foundation.

Melbourne Musuem - Revolutions Records & Rebels exhibition

Originating from the world’s leading museum of art and design, Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London, Revolutions: Records and Rebels investigates the way youth culture and collective action catalysed seismic shifts in the Western world across five revolutionary years: 1966–70.

Capturing the voices of disruptors in music, fashion, technology and politics, the exhibition explores the impact this period had on the way we live today and how we think about tomorrow.

With over 500 objects on display highlights include John Lennon’s signature glasses, hand written lyrics for the Beatles hit Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Iconic Mini dresses worn by Twiggy and protest materials that defined the anti Vietnam War movement. It was an exhibition not to be missed.
