Year 7 & 9 Immunisations

A reminder that Year 7 and 9 students will be receiving immunisations tomorrow, 

Friday, May 29.

If your child is receiving an immunisation, we ask that you please send them to School in their PE uniform. This will assist the nurses with administering the immunisations.

Art Exhibition

Fiona Valentine is one of the mums in our school community. She is a Melbourne artist with a background in missions & education.  Her detailed and expressive paintings feature a wide variety of subjects. She paints in oil, acrylic and watercolour in a realist style with a particular love of landscape. 

Fiona's artwork will be featured in an upcoming exhibition in our BHCS Arts Centre. The opening night for this is Friday, May 29 at 7.30pm. We encourage you to come along and see the original paintings and prints on display and for sale. Students, parents, staff & friends all welcome. Meet the artist and hear about her painting and inspiration.

Junior School Swimming Lessons

We remind families that from 2nd June until 4th June, and 9th June until 11th June, Students in Prep to Year 4 will be participating in School Swimming Lessons. A notice has been sent home to families regarding this.

Student Free Days

We would like to make families aware that there is no School next week Friday, June 5, due to a Curriculum Day. There is also no School the following Monday, June 8, due to the Queen's Birthday Public Holiday. 

Trivia Night

Why: To raise fund for Vetamorphus trip to Fiji

Where: BHCS Trade Training Centre

Who: Students are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

(There is no child minding available, so please organise a babysitter for your little ones.)

Date: Friday, June 12

Time: 7pm

Bring: Nibbles, drinks, enthusiasm, and someone with lots of knowledge

Cost: $10

There will also be silent auctions available to bid on throughout the night. Organise a table of 8 to 10, or we can include you in one.

Soiree

There will be a Soirée for Instrumental

Program students on Tuesday, 16th June at 7pm in the TTC Restaurant.

All are invited to see this great little showcase of musical talent within the school. There will be items from as young as Preps to Senior students, on a range of instruments. There may even be a guest appearance from staff! Time to mark your calendars - watch this space!
