Who wouldn’t like a brief time out of school to do sport?

On Thursday 19 April, thanks to Mr Young and Ms Kim, we were lucky enough to participate in a Senior Interschool Badminton Tournament at Kilsyth Sports Centre.

Jake, Kaushal, Eddy, Brock and I, all from Year eleven got to experience an amazing day representing Scoresby Secondary College. We engaged in team work and sportsmanship as we versed different schools from Wantirna Secondary College, Bayswater Secondary College and Fairhills High School.

We had a few laughs meeting players that we versed two years ago and got really happy that we almost won over a strong team from Wantirna College, only to find out that they have another team in which we were about to verse. That was okay – we came third overall (Wantirna College took first and second place) and glad that we participated in this sporting event, we are all looking forward to another tournament in the future.
