School Strategic Plan
2019 - 2022
During 2018 we undertook the school review process to determine what had been achieved over the previous 4 years and to set goals for the next 4 years. Two main goals have been set:
- To improve student learning growth across all learning areas.
- To achieve a culture of high expectations to raise aspirations and the achievement of all students.
To enable us to achieve these goals, a number of key improvement strategies have been developed.
Some of these include; building teacher capacity, continue to build curriculum, incorporate a range of teaching strategies, increase student voice and agency and increase the use of student achievement data.
These goals also align with our vision statement:
‘LHS is dedicated to providing an environment that values academic excellence and maximises opportunities and pathways to enable all students to become resilient and contributing members of the community’
‘Excellence in learning, resilience in life, thriving in community’
We are looking forward to continuing the journey of making LHS a place where all students can achieve.
Building Program Update
The design plans for the new Zoology Centre and Administration Building are currently being approved.
The 5.8 million dollar project is tracking well and work should start in the second part of the year.
Year 12 Results 2018
