U7 GS Stars

Right from the first whistle you girls were off to a confident start scoring your first goal only seconds after the centre pass.

The play is getting more consistent and your passing and court positioning improving every week.

Well done to our shooters Ivy (5), Piper (2), Miane (2), and our strong defenders and centre court.

You should all be very happy with your game.

U8 GS Magic

The GS Magic had a solid win over the CH Cubs on Monday afternoon with the final score being 16-4.  It was great to see Eden have a real impact on the game with plenty of down the court dribbling and plenty of rebounds, Jake too demonstrated his solid dribbling skills, Layla did some great steals, Lachlan impressed with some long range baskets and Jayden had another 10 point game.

Scorers: Jayden (10pts) and Lachlan (6pts)

U8 GS Thunder

On Monday night the GS Thunder had an exciting game against the CH Eagles.  The pace of the match was quick and with only one sub, our team had to work very hard.  Frequent fast changes in possession kept everyone on their toes, and made for a great deal of running and many glowing faces.  Well done to the Thunder for putting up a good defence and not giving up despite your tired legs!

Scorer: Downey (4pts).

U10 GS Rockets

The Rockets faced another Prescott team this afternoon. Our boys played well and our experience showed against the new team from Prescott.  They tried hard but struggled to get past our line of defence. We took every ball and ran with it and made each opportunity count. We ended on a very successful note, our final score being 58 to 0 in our favour.

Scorers: Hudson (22pts), Divan (6pts),  Ashrith  (22pts), Luke (4pts), Preston (2pts) and Harry (4pts).

Year 5/6 GS Shooters

What amazing teamwork the GS Shooters displayed this week with all 7 players scoring!

They took control of the game from the start and the highlight was their use of each other throughout the game. There were plenty of well timed passes to free players which allowed team mates to take controlled accurate shots at goal and resulted in our highest score this season.

Very well played Shooters! Your positive hardworking commitment to basketball and your team proudly represents Good Shepherd. Scorers: Micah (12pts), Alistair (8pts), Dhairya (6pts), Jaxon (4pts), Jacob (2pts), Kadin (2pts) and Wian (2pts).
