WELL DONE VEGAS H!

Division XC representative

We’d like to congratulate Vegas H (5D) for her solid finish in 16th place at the Beachside Division Cross Country event held on Tuesday at Bald Hill Park.  Vegas represented our Dendy District in the 11y Girls 3km event, after coming 2nd at our recent Dendy XC event.  Many thanks to her parents for taking her to and from the event.  A fine effort in a field of very fit competitors.  WELL DONE VEGAS!

PARENT HELP REQUEST:  weekly support for bus supervision &/or umpires:

Please click on this link if you can spare 1 or more afternoons to support your child’s team with bus support.  We require an extra adult for each Home football match as well as both our Away football & netball teams each week.  We’d love it also if any parent would like to help out with umpiring.  A copy of the rules can be distributed to clarify our primary school rules.

Year 5/6 Lightning Premiership tournaments

Interested Year 5/6 students wishing to try out for our Lightning Premiership teams for netball, football and soccer will undertake trials over the next 2 weeks to assist in selecting teams.  Rep teams will participate in the three Dendy tournaments during Week 9 & 10 of this term. 

Any parents that would be willing to help coach a team on any one of these days, please contact Mrs Tania Thompson via email.  Your support would be much appreciated.

P-2  INTENSIVE SWIMMING PROGRAM:

Well done to our Prep, Year 1’s and Year 2’s for completing their 8-session Intensive Swimming program over the past two weeks.  It’s been great to witness the efforts each day and improvement seen in many of our students.   Many thanks to all families for their efforts in packing their child’s swim gear each day.
