Past Student Successes

St Finbar's Primary School student serving as De La Salle College Student Leader in 2018.

The Student Leadership team at De La Salle College represent a vibrant and vital aspect of College life. These young men are recognised by their peers as active agents of change. The team significantly shape the school culture through their involvement in fundraising and advocacy for the poor and marginalised, student action teams and broader school committees.  De La Salle is very proud of these students and would like to share some of their memories of their time at primary school, and thoughts on the path they have taken to their leadership roles with the community.

One of De La Salle College’s Student Leaders for 2018, Max Moolman started his educational journey at St Finbar's Primary School.

Max is very proud to be selected as a Student Leader, in the role of St Leo's House Captain and hopes “to develop our schools already rich house spirit and culture”.

He fondly remembers “Year 6 with Mr Daniels, lots of great memories and funny times”. Though Max “didn't have a lot of leadership roles in primary” he feels that St Finbars “did teach me to work with others, to be confident, and to be comfortable in front of others”.

Max would especially like to thank “Mrs Tammy” who he says “always had my back, keeping me out of trouble, and even to this day I still see her at my work and love having a chat!”.

De La Salle College hopes you will enjoy celebrating the quality of these fine young men and wish them well in their journey as Student Leaders.
