Visit from the Emergency Services

On Monday the 12th of August the four junior classrooms were given an insight into the emergency services. We had the Numurkah Ambulance, Police Divisional Van, SES Truck, and three different vehicles from the Numurkah CFA visit us.

As the theme for Term 3 focuses on Transport and Communication, the students learnt how the vehicles are used in their line of work. The visitors commented that the students asked a lot of great questions to find out more information. One of the favourite parts for some of the students was when the vehicles all left with their lights and sirens going.
