From the Principal's desk

This week has been packed full of books, dress ups and debating. The School Book Parade was awesome and it was great to see Claire Kelly, the new Principal of Numurkah Secondary College, and her student leaders, here to help judge the parade. It was very difficult decision this year, so next year I am going to ensure I have more prizes to acknowledge the thought and preparation that goes into the costumes. The Community Reading Day was hugely successful and next week one of our student newspaper journalists will share further photos and articles with us about the day.

The corridors and spare rooms have been full of students preparing for their debates this week. I have adjudicated two debates this week and I must say I am impressed with the quality of the research and the delivery of the speeches. It could be the best season yet!
