One Million Children Praying The Rosary

On Monday 19th of October Sacred Heart School will join one million children from all around the world to pray the rosary for peace. Around the world this special day of prayer is on Sunday 18th at 9:00am however in Australia schools will be praying on Monday. Having faith in the power of children’s prayers: that is exactly what this campaign supported by Aid to the Church in Need is all about. Students from Years Prep to Four will receive rosary beads and will learn about the meaning and use of the rosary in class. Students in Years 5/6 are encouraged to bring rosary beads from home (if they have them) and we will be reading the story '100 Knots' and use string to make a simple rosary. During this time of COVID prayer is really important and it is something that everyone can do especially children. For more information please watch this link:
