Stage 5

Year 10 Update

Year 10 have been working hard on their assessment tasks in most of their subjects in the latter half of this term. It is essential that they keep up-to-date with their coursework as grades for their Record of School Achievement (RoSA) will be awarded halfway through next term. Students who have received a letter indicating that they may receive an N-award for any outstanding assessment work should discuss this with their teachers to seek help in completing the tasks.

Year 10 have now selected their 2021 Year 11 subjects. During next term they will be engaging in some compulsory  preparation courses for Senior Studies. These classes are intended to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully commence Year 11 next year. Please refer to the following section for further details regarding Year 10's Term 4 schedule.

Next term Year 10 will also be visiting the new campus as part of their transition and familiarisation with the layout and operation of the new school. These visits are planned for Thursday morning in Week 2 and Week 5.

Lastly, I would like to thank all of Year 10 and their teachers for their efforts and hard work this term and wish everyone a safe holiday. We hope everyone has the opportunity to refresh and invigorate themselves for our final term at the Duval campus.

Year 10 Food Tech

Year 10 Food Tech's latest practical assessment involved each group choosing a theme;  and then designing a menu and table setting around that theme. Budgeting and quantity were also considerations.

The class chose the following themes: carnival theme, circus theme, masquerade ball and star wars. Take a look at the photos to see their wonderful creations!
