ASC Canteen

The 'Snack Shack' opens at 8.30 am each morning to provide students and staff a wide range of hot and cold menu items following the Healthy Schools Canteen guidelines. A daily hot meal is listed on the board outside the Canteen each week. A special Meal-Deal (hot meal with drink) is offered each Tuesday (lg $7.00, sm $6.00). Free fruit is also available at all times, thanks to generous donations from Armidale Coles.

The Canteen also caters for various within-school functions, activities, and visiting school groups. 

Katy and her team rely on a student-volunteer roster to assist in counter service at recess and lunch. She also has a small but dedicated band of parent/carer volunteers who assist in meal preparation and counter service. Additional volunteers are always most appreciated and warmly welcome!

The canteen is operated by the ASC P&C, and is a major source of fundraising each year. Students are reminded they are not permitted to leave school grounds during the day to purchase take-away food. Instead, they should be supporting the reasonably-priced and super-scrummy canteen menu!
