5/6s Update

Dear Parents / Carers

Firstly, we’d like to thank you for your support during the two terms of remote learning so far. The support that you have given to your child to allow them to consistently engage with remote learning has been appreciated. We would also like to commend our students for continuing to display their personal best efforts and following the Tribes Agreements in an online environment.

Next term, while we hope that remote learning will not last for more than a few weeks, teachers will set small-group work to be held on Webex along with assessment tasks. For assessment purposes, it is important that your child joins these groups and completes the set-tasks. If remote learning continues beyond the current expectation of three weeks for 5/6s, it will be even more imperative that your child joins any Webex meets that they are asked to and completes the work set online. This information will be posted in Google Classroom each morning.

We hope that you and your children enjoy the well deserved break, and as always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.
