Rock the Neighbourhood—Family Art Project
Join the ‘rock revolution’! We invite all our FPS family members to help create a community artwork these school holidays. The task involves painting a rock and leaving it by the school fence, by the fig tree on Langridge Street. It’s a way for each of us to be represented at school without physically being onsite.
How to participate:
- Get a rock. Smooth rocks around 10 – 20cm in length with a flat top and bottom will be the easiest to decorate.
- Decorate. Paint or permanent markers are best. Please don’t stick things to your rocks as these can come off and become litter.
- Seal the rock. To preserve the art on your rock, you can apply a sealant.
- Place your rock along the fence by the fig tree.
- Admire the growing collection of community rocks – each representing a member of the FPS community.
