Rock the Neighbourhood—Family Art Project

Join the ‘rock revolution’! We invite all our FPS family members to help create a community artwork these school holidays. The task involves painting a rock and leaving it by the school fence, by the fig tree on Langridge Street. It’s a way for each of us to be represented at school without physically being onsite.

How to participate:

  1. Get a rock. Smooth rocks around 10 – 20cm in length with a flat top and bottom will be the easiest to decorate.
  2. Decorate. Paint or permanent markers are best. Please don’t stick things to your rocks as these can come off and become litter.
  3. Seal the rock. To preserve the art on your rock, you can apply a sealant.
  4. Place your rock along the fence by the fig tree.
  5. Admire the growing collection of community rocks – each representing a member of the FPS community.

Take a look at this gallery for decoration inspiration.
