Disco & L-FRESH Interview

Performing Arts Highlights

Masquerade Disco

What an amazing afternoon! It was so joyous to connect with everyone again in a fun and social way. Both the junior and senior school got the chance to dance along to some known routines, play some fun guessing games, and make song requests.

We cannot thank you enough for bringing all your enthusiasm, creativity and smiles to the event. We are so lucky to have a community at FPS that supports these types of occasions and allows us to create some special school moments in a virtual setting.

Please keep adding photos and videos to the Padlets, so we can see how much everyone enjoyed themselves!

Can you guess who these teachers are with their masks on?

Special Visit from L-FRESH The LION

The last time we checked borders were still closed. Fortunately, with the wonders of virtual conferencing, L-FRESH T LION was able to visit us remotely and answer some questions submitted by our Year 3 – 6 students. We received 90 questions for L-FRESH, but only had time for 12. We were impressed by the calibre of questions and together with the excellent facilitation of the Performing Arts Committee (Tashi, Edward, Jeevan, Annika and Ewan) an insightful forum ensued.

We are humbled by the L-FRESH's honesty about his struggles and inspired by his message of resilience and believing in one’s worth. We are also in awe of his empowering music and in true Fairfield Primary School tradition danced to a single 'Born to Stand Out' from his latest album, 'South-West'. Music does make the world go round and heals, if you felt inspired by L-FRESH head over to his Spotify page and support this wonderful artist.
