L’ Angolo Italiano…

Grade 3&4- LA PIANTINA DI CASA

This term, Grade 3&4s have worked on learning the Italian vocabulary related to the house. They learnt how to label the different parts of the house and the specific items you find in each space, for example LETTO/ bed, TAVOLO/ table, DOCCIA/ shower, etc.

They also expanded their lexicon focusing on Italian verbs about actions that you do in different parts of the house, for example: IO DORMO in CAMERA/ I sleep in the bedroom, IO LEGGO in SALA / I read in the lounge room, IO LAVO LE MANI in BAGNO/ I wash my hands in the bathroom, etc.

As a final task for the term, students were challenged to draw the PIANTINA/ house map of their own CASA and label the areas in Italian.

They did an absolute amazing work, so proud of them! Bravissimi!
