For those that don’t know me my name is Jake Bayley and I will be Head Coach for the Year 11/12 footballing squad for 2020. Alongside me as my Main Assistant Coach will be Shane Lanzon.  We are both really excited at the opportunities that this season will bring to the boys. If you haven’t met either of us before, please come and introduce yourself to us so we can get to know everyone!

Firstly, training for the boys will start next week at Ray Owen, with the dates and times being 3:45pm to 5:30pm on Tuesday 18 Feb and Friday 21 Feb. These are not permanent days of training for the rest of the season, but due to other sporting commitments that a large number of the boys have, these work out to be the best days for player availability now. We do understand that the boys have got a heavy workload, both academically and with other social and sports commitments, so we are asking them to attend on whatever training days that they are available, even if it is to just help run the session and their participation is limited.

Secondly, there will be a parent meeting held after training at Ray Owen at 6:00pm after the Friday 21 session. At this meeting, Shane and myself will introduce ourselves, break down how the program will work for the season and answer any questions you may have. For the boarding parents, we will be having someone detail the minutes of the meeting and we will send these out soon after the meeting to keep you updated.

Thirdly, if you could please register your sons ASAP that would be appreciated. The quicker we can, the better. Shane and I look forward to seeing and hearing from you all!
