Continuous Learning Program (Remote and Flexible Learning): Years 1-6 Learning Conferences
Thank you to all families who participated in our e-Learning Conferences on Monday and Tuesday. Bar a few technical issues, I believe the conferences were very much appreciated and a timely way to check-in with each family.
Families who did not make their meeting are encouraged to re-organize a time with their teacher.
Mothers' Day Wrap
Normally at this time of the year we are running around making sure we have everything prepared for our Mothers' Day Breakfast and Mothers' Day Stall.
So a message to all our boys and girls. With the help of an adult or older sibling, why not prepare your own Mothers' Day Brekky at home! .... Start with a nice brewed coffee or tea or a chilled glass of juice, freshly squeezed from the supermarket shelf. Follow this up with toast and jam, a warm bagel or croissant or, if you are a super cook, smashed avocado on toast! (I'm getting hungry just writing this piece!). Make sure you end with a nice fruit platter. Don't forget, presentation is just as important so go out into the garden, pick some flowers or foliage and make a nice little floral arrangement to accompany your spread. Please send us a photo!
Now a little message to all our mums from us... You are irreplaceable. You deserve to feel loved and appreciated all year long, but especially on Mothers' Day.
You do an amazing job... Always being available morning, noon and night to listen, laugh and love with your child; to guide, teach and train your child; to rejoice in the simplest to the most complex achievements while giving permission to fail; to help your child identify their skills and foster a love for life; to model with integrity – living what you say, being a model from which your child can learn what is true, beautiful and good. You are who we look up to!
Challenge
You will all remember that at Monday morning's Assembly I said that I would be issuing you all with a Challenge. So... here it is!
As time goes by, Tik Tok, Tik Tok, and as the novelty of online learning wears off, we thought it's time to inject a little bit of fun. Spending sooooo much time together can send us all a bit crazy!
So here's my challenge... Get the family together and join in the Blinding Lights craze! Use this as a little warm up before you commence work each day or just as a brain break or to relieve some tension. Make sure you send us your Blinding Lights video so we can make a compilation to share with you all! Let's try to do it by the weekend .
Did you guess my play on words? Ha ha!
Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF)
An extension has been applied to assist families in applying for the Camp, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF).

Should you require an application for the CSEF please email the school office at info@cckingsville.catholic.edu.au
We encourage families to submit these to the school office ASAP. Applications for CSEF close on the 26th June 2020.
