Swimming Program

Year 2 students will participate in an intensive swimming program run by Just Swimming at Aqualink Nunawading from Wednesday 2 to Friday 11 November. The daily lessons are about 40 minutes long. 

The swimming program is part of the curriculum and a compulsory activity, as directed by the Department of Education, and all students are expected to attend.

Program information has been published on Compass. Payment of $45 and your consent is due now, and not later than Friday 21 October. CSEF can be applied. The cost of the program this year has been subsidised with unspent swimming funds from previous years. There will be no refunds or make up lessons for isolated lessons missed, as the costs are set. 

Parent helpers are required. If you have a current Working with Children Check that has been presented at the School Office to be copied and recorded, you can volunteer if you want to assist. Email your child's classroom teacher to advise your availability. 

Royal Botanic Gardens Excursion

Year 2 students will attend an excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne on Friday 2 December. 

They will experience a range of activities, including planting a seedling and learning about the parts of plants, as well has time to explore and enjoy the beautiful gardens.

Excursion information will be published soon on Compass, including the due date for payment and consent. CSEF can be applied.
