Lullaby Project – Burrendah Primary School

This is an invitation for parents to sing a lullaby in your home language, English and Noongar language.

We are looking for parents who are willing to sing one or two short lullabies in their own language, English and Noongar language.

We have the words in Noongar and English. We need parents to translate two lullabies into Mandarin, Bengali, Vietnamese, Korean, and Arabic to name a few. We currently have translations in Filipino, Hindi/Urdu, and Indonesian. If you are interested in being part of this project please get in touch with the EALD team either during the holidays or the first week back of the school year in 2023.

This is a project initiative of the Community Arts Network CAN. As far as we know, we will be the first school to take on this project and perform it at their school. The target date is on March 24, Welcome Evening.
