Many thanks from our 2022 P&C

This year, our P&C Committee with the help of our parent volunteers managed to raise $16,830, which was used towards the new Library Furniture and additional contingency costs for the Nature Playground.

We have confirmed that the Nature Playground will be started over the January school holidays, so fingers crossed we don’t face any more delays. We are in the process of buying a new bike rack which will be available in the new year as well.

However, all of this could not have been achieved without the unwavering support of the Committee and for that, I must express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Kiara Duvall (Vice President), Karen Harvey (Treasurer, Secretary), and Committee Members, Bree Sherston, Sara Alagappan, Peta Turner, Kymberley Ritchie, Beatriz Clark, Bek Hogan, and Melissa Carter. We will be saying goodbye to Bek and Melissa this year, who have contributed their time to make sure our events run as smoothly as they do. On behalf of the P&C, I would again like to thank both Bek and Mel for their contributions over the years, we will miss them!

We have many events planned for 2023, including bringing back the Welcome Evening, the Colour Explosion, and much more. Please continue to support the P&C, by liking/following the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BurrendahPandC/)  for regular updates and contributing where possible.

We welcome all new and existing parents (and grandparents) who would like to find out more about the P&C or would like to help out with an event during the year. As a parent of a Burrendah Primary Student, the P&C is your connection to the school to ensure that what we fundraise for and give back to the school results in a positive benefit for the kids. The P&C plays a vital role in the Burrendah Primary School Community, your feedback is always welcome to burrendahpc@gmail.com.
