Year 4 Camp

The Year Four students recently went to Camp Jungai in Rubicon. We all had a fun time and came back feeling exhausted yet full of pride for our bravery, resilience and persistence. We would like to thank the wonderful parents who came with us to support us and our teachers.

Please enjoy some poems written using the most important words from our camp reflections.

Camp

Possum pull, canoeing, bush walk, tent

Running, searching,

BUGS!

Closer to school, grass, lake

Comfortable with camp, definitely go on camp

Me

Afraid of ants,

CAmp FuN

More independent.

Camp Jungai

Willow James

canoeing, cultural session, talent show

Challenging sleep, carrying luggage

feel very happy, can’t wait for our next camp

enjoying canoeing and possum pull

plants used, eaten,

more resilient

Camp Jungai

Canoeing, possum pull, bush walk,

SO MUDDY!

Even better, get rid of the bull ants!

Loved possum pull, canoeing so fun.

Learnt to sleep without my parents.

Camp Jungai

Fun activities possum pull, photo rally, canoeing

Challenging sleep, cabin talking

Least enjoyable eating outside, breakfast soggy

Add getting lunch duty, would be fun

Feel less stressed, gone successfully

Learnt amazing things,

resilience grown
