Principal Team Report

Volunteer Thank You Night

It has been wonderful this year to see the return of so many great community events and school-based activities! We appreciate that so much that happens at our school would not be possible without the support of parents, carers and extended family members - Parents Association events, kitchen garden, canteen and uniform shop volunteers, helpers on school excursions, working bee volunteers, school council members, Class Reps and the list goes on and on!

As such, we would like to say thank you by inviting you to attend an informal evening in our Kitchen Garden on Tuesday 29 November.

Please RSVP via the link below and we’ll look forward to seeing you on 29 November.

Assembly Update and Super Student Awards

With so many students doing so well at school, it has become impractical and impersonal for us to celebrate Super Student Awards properly during whole school assemblies. As such, Super Student Awards will now be presented at Year Level Assemblies (parents will be invited). Stay tuned to year level communications for details.

Reducing Food Waste Initiative

We are Lachlan, Max M and Nathan from Year 6. As an action for our Exhibition, we have planned to set up a food stall at school. Here is some information about it:

Activity: Food-tasting stall to promote awareness about food waste, with the chance to win a prize.

Time: Tuesday 22nd November at lunch time.

Requirement: We ask for students to bring a gold coin donation to participate in the activities which will be held at the store.

The founders of Farmer’s Pick, a business focused on reducing food waste, will also be there to talk to like-minded children about food waste, so if you have any questions, this is the right place to ask them!

We hope you can all come and participate in our stall. Remember to bring a gold coin to take part, and for the chance to win a lucky-dip prize!
