Meet your PFA Treasurer/Secretaries

Shivanthi, Lourdes & Elena

We took a quick moment to ask these ladies a little bit about themselves!

What is your favourite colour?

Shivnathi: Blue

Lourdes: Yellow

Elena: Purple

What is your favourite food?

Shivanthi: Vietnamese green papaya salad

Lourdes: Roast Duck

Elena: Gnocchi

What is your favourite movie?

Shivanthi: Love in the moonlight, it’s a Korean drama

Lourdes: The Sound of Music

Elena: Dirty Dancing

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go & why?

Shivanthi: Morocco, to see the valley of wild roses.

Lourdes: Southern Italy. Great food, beautiful scenery & so relaxing!

Elena: The Greek Islands – I am yet to visit Santorini; the place just looks amazing!

What makes you happy?

Shivanthi: Quality time spent with my family and friends.

Lourdes: Relaxing with family and friends around a fire, with great food & drinks

Elena: knowing that my family is healthy & happy

What is your favourite sport?

Shivanthi: Tennis

Lourdes: Taekwondo

Elena: Soccer

Again, we thank Shivanthi, Lourdes & Elena for being part of this amazing PFA, we can’t wait to see what fun activities you and the team have in store for the kids!!

In conjunction with the Cross Country Run, the PFA are hosting a Colour Explosion Run on Thursday 1 April. The Colour Run will be held on the school oval following the Cross Country Run. The day’s focus is on fun and fitness with the added benefit of raising funds for our school.

The children would have received their Sponsorship booklet and information pamphlet explaining how to register your child. Each student must register online at www.myprofilepage.com.au

Please see the registration instructions below:

Click ‘Register’ on the home page.

Create a Parent Account and click ‘Register’.

Create a Profile Page for your child.

Enter your child’s first and last name.

Search for our school name: St Francis De Sales (LYNBROOK)

Select your child’s Class Name (home group) from the drop down list.

Click ‘Next’.

Select your Child’s fundraising goal (this can be changed later) and click ‘Create Page’.

Once you’ve created your child’s profile, you can set fundraising goals and share the page with family and friends to start raising money online.

More than one child?

If you have more than one child, click ‘Add Another Child’ to create an additional student profile pages.

Have fun raising much needed funds for our wonderful school!

As an added incentive, every child who raises only $10 or more will be able to select & order a prize online!!! – so get involved today!

We will keep you all updated with a fundraising leaderboard. The PFA are offering additional prizes are for the top 3 fundraisers as well as for the home group that raises the most money! How awesome is that!!!!!!!!

As all students will be wearing their house colours, we suggest wearing a light shade if possible to maximize the impact of the coloured powder. Every child who takes part will receive an awesome gift bag with some cute goodies & a Certificate of Participation.

Sports Day

We hope all your children enjoyed their BBQ sausage today!!

It was such a pleasure being able to treat the excited kids! Thank you to all the helpers that helped cook up a storm & well done to all the children, it sounded like they all had a wonderful day cheering on all their peers!!

Morning Teas/Uniform Shop

We are happy to announce that Morning Teas are back!

We warmly invite you to our first morning tea for 2021! It will be held on March 12th at 9am in the Community Room. Please join us for a hot cuppa and sweet treat whilst getting to know fellow SFS parents/carers.

The uniform shop will be running during morning tea with all items only $5 each and is cash only!!

Easter Raffle

The annual Easter Raffle is upon us! We would love to put on an amazing raffle with many kids winning prizes! We always love & appreciate how much the SFS community gets involved with donating chocolate eggs, gifts, vouchers anything! If you are able to help support our Easter raffle, we would greatly appreciate it! All donations can be left with Lorenza & Vivienne at the front office.

Raffle tickets will be going out to all families later in the term, each ticket is only 50c each with ALL proceeds going to the Monash Children’s Hospital.

Hot Cross Buns

Have you placed your order yet?? These hot cross buns are delicious and for below retail cost there is no better way to get your Hot Cross Bun fix. There are 5 flavours to choose from, so be quick as forms are due back Friday March 12th.

Subway Lunch

On Friday, March 19th, the PFA will be offering all students a Subway Fun Lunch for $7.00 per lunch pack ($1.00 extra for gluten-free option). Order forms should have gone home with your child yesterday, with spare copies at the office for your convenience. Please make sure to fill out your child’s preferences and return the order form and correct money in a sealed and labelled envelope back to your home group teacher NO LATER than Friday March 12th!! Sorry but Subway can’t accept any late orders.
