Year 7 Technology

STEM in Year 7

In year 7 Systems Technology students have been learning about Forces and stored energy. Each class made model catapults using rubber bands and the materials they had available to effectively launch a piece of paper as far as they can. With modifications along the way some students managed to launch their paper up to 6m. Our Year 7’s are now moving onto a larger Sustainability project looking at solving real world issues.
