Cricket Players Wanted

Cricket resumes in Term 4, and players are sought to fill teams in Kanga, Junior and Senior grades.  Please contact Mr Wain for further details, or send the completed form back to school.

Netball Players Wanted

Girls or boys interested in playing in an Under 7's netball team in Term 4 are asked to notify Mr Wain, or the school office.

A parent coach is also required for this team to continue competing. Matches are played at Turramurra Recreation Centre on Thursday afternoons and evenings.

U9 GS Champs

As another Term ends, the GS Champs have shown some big developments in their game as they learn and grow, and have fun in the process! The smiles and little fist pumps we see when they've perfected a pass or shot a goal are priceless. Well done to all the girls.

This week, that development and improvement really showed with our defence keeping the Opposition goals at bay, and our attackers moving the ball quickly to create opportunities for our goalies.

Basketball Results

U8 GS Thunder

A great game against the Hotshots this week. Thunder worked hard in defense creating lots of steals and fast breaks resulting in some good baskets.  Well done team for getting to the 10 point rule.

U10 GS Magic

We played our own this week and it was a fun game to watch! Our shooting was off but we still managed to get a few in. 

Magic 20 to Rockets 8. Another term of basketball has finished. As I watched you play last night I can see such huge improvements from when we started together. You should all be very proud of yourselves. Enjoy your holidays!

U10 GS Rockets

It was Good Shepherd's very own show down this week with the Rockets playing the Magic! Fantastic effort by both teams, showing great friendships across both teams.  Well done Rockets, you have all come a long way and with a little more passing you will continue to improve.  Scorers were Oliver and Saje.

We played our last game for the term against the 'Magic'. It was great to play an evenly matched team. Mid way through the the match we got within 2pts of our opposition. We saw lots of team play and great defence this week.  Awesome effort Shooters!
