Principal's Report

Dear Parents,

I am sure you have heard about the sad news of Fr Shabin's dear mum who passed away on the weekend. Fr Shabin left for India on Monday morning to attend the funeral and be with his family. Our prayers and thoughts are with Fr Shabin and his family. 

The Sacramental program will continue starting off with Confirmation on this Saturday at 5.30pm.

Bishop Curtain visited children on Wednesday and was very pleased to see the children so well prepared.  In receiving this Sacrament we recall the time Jesus stood amongst His disciples and gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit so that they were empowered to go out and spread the ‘Good

News’.  As a faith community we gather to

celebrate our children being Confirmed.

This Sacrament is part of the Rite of Initiation into the Church. It is a celebration of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit through the laying of hands and anointing with oil, so that our bond with the Church and our faith is strengthened. I ask you to keep the following Year 6 children in your prayers as they embark on the next step of their faith

This Saturday is a busy day. I invite you to attend Bunnings in Darebin Rd Fairfield and purchase a sausage to help with our fundraising. My thanks to all those who put their hands up to help out.
