Year 8 Girls State Finals held at Footscray Hockey Club

Year 8 Girls State Finals was held at Footscray Hockey Club on Monday November 11th. The team consisting of Lisa Bell, Kalia Gartly (c), Kira Jones, Elysia Jones, Monika Jurisic, Scarlett Klose. Michelle and Larissa La Grange, Uma Nuffels, Lillian Ram, Antonia Samaras (GK), Marlena Skoneczko, Erin Smith and Emma Mitchel finished 3rd overall.

In our round robin pool we won 4-0 against Cathedral College Wangaratta and 4-1 against Warrnambool Secondary College. We lost to the eventual champions Chairo Christian College 3-0. This is a tremendous result and a testament to the girls great work ethic and strong team play.
