House Competition 

House Competition Report.

The much anticipated house competition results were announced to the students with the overall winners for the year Wollert! The final results were:

1st – Wollert 230600

2nd – Doherty 229350

3rd – Jenkins 216000

4th – McDonald 187200

Well done to the following students who received trophies for receiving the most house points for their year level:

Year 7 Female House Points Champion – Amal Darrage (Wollert) 9275 points

Year 7 Male House Points Champion – Ali Al Salloum (Doherty) 9700 points

Year 8 Female House Points Champion – Liliana Ladoo (Wollert) 9575 points

Year 8 Male House Points Champion – Shavith Witharanage (Jenkins) 10350 points

It was definitely an exciting and collaborative year where house activities enabled students to communicate and encourage other members of their house from both year levels. All students were enthusiastic and very competitive at all house activities, which created a fun and enjoyable environment that all students could receive positive praise.

I would like to thank the house captains and teachers for assisting me in setting up and running the house activities all year as all did an amazing job.

I am sure that the students and teachers cannot wait for next year with many more house activities and new ideas to be implemented. These events will be another opportunity to allow everyone to create long lasting memories and achieve many successes whilst earning house points. Our very first house event next year will be the house athletics carnival, which will be held at Meadowglen International Athletics Stadium on Tuesday 25th February in term one.
