Level 3/4

Level 3 & 4 News

It has been fantastic to be back learning and laughing together in the classroom. During Remote Learning, Level 3 continued to work hard under challenging conditions. We continued our unit of poetry, focussing on Concrete Poems in writing. 

In Mathematics, Level 3 progressed our work on division. We used lots of different strategies for solving division problems, including using number lines and concrete materials.  We also linked division with multiplication. In Reading, we continued our work on making inferences from texts. Students did an excellent job of using their prior knowledge and clues from the text to work out what has happened and what could happen next in the text. Students also completed many well-being activities as well as having a boogie during the whole school disco. 

We want to thank the hard work of all students and families over the most recent period of Remote Learning. We really appreciate the support.
