I hope you are all well and are staying safe in this current lockdown. I pray for your safety and for your loved ones, both here and overseas. The HR office has been quite busy with staffing this term and here are a few updates:

Staffing Updates

• Maria Denholm, current (acting) Head of Junior Years has been successful in securing the long term contract for Head of Junior Years
• We welcome June Owili as the Science Lab Technician this term. June comes with a great deal of overseas experience with her most recent role being a Science Lab Technician in Good Shepherd Lutheran College in the Northern Territory.
• Tissa Kapilaratna has been successful in securing the Technology Technician position with us. Tissa is a qualified automotive mechanic and a skilled machine operator. He brings a lot of experience having worked with Boeing Australia, GM Holden and several other organisations. Tissa will join us in a part-time role starting Monday 26 July. 
• We also welcome Brodie Boyd who has returned from maternity leave and      Belinda Fox who has returned from Long Service leave
• Simon Bradbury will continue to work with us until the end of the year

• We  have a Long Service leave cover for a Classroom Teacher in Junior Years in Term 4 and two Leave covers in the Learning Enrichment team. If you know of anyone suitable or are interested in the role, please email: recruitment@goodnews.vic.edu.au

Volunteering Opportunities

We are blessed to have our parent volunteers who give their time and support for various activities in the College. Casual Pool

From time to time, we may have casual opportunities to work within our Administration office, Canteen and other areas requiring casual assistance.
