Year 3 – 6 House Athletics Carnival

On Thursday 24 June, we were finally able to hold our Year 3 – 6 House Athletics Carnival at the Victoria University Athletics Track. Although the weather was cold, we saw remarkable team spirit and athletic ability among our Year 3 – 6 competitors. A special mention to the following male and female age-based champions:  

9 yrs - Riyan (4CP) and Quinn (3RA)   

10 yrs - Derek (5GC) and Barsenet (5KS)  

11 yrs - Tanav (5GC) and Sophia (6IM)  

12/13 yrs - James (6TP) and Tahnee (6IM)  

Tanav and Tahnee are also congratulated on being awarded the medal for overall Male and Female House Athletics Champions for the day.

Baker House won the day with 2231 points, with Hume House in second place. Later in Term 3, our qualifying students will have the opportunity to compete at various District and Division Athletic experiences both at Victoria University Athletics Track.
