A reunion of celebrating OVA’s 1970 and 1971 Seniors and Reserves Premierships was held on June 5 at the Derwent Sailing Squadron in Sandy Bay. There were about 50 attendees. Speakers included David Coventry ( senior coach at the time) and long serving player ‘Sheepy’ Saunders with standup comedian Vince Ryan providing numerous uninvited interjections.

It was a great occasion and thanks go to the organisers David Coventry, Max Corney, Roger Smart and Tony Denne.
Hopefully the luncheon was a good omen for our 2021 team who are currently second ahead of a big game this weekend against Hutchins. Come and support our Boys!
