It's Wellbeing Week!

Wellbeing Week is a fantastic time of the year where we have the opportunity to participate in different activities based around SEL (Social Emotional Learning). This year our week has been filled with fun activities and incursions which the students have embraced and loved! Our students are so lucky to be given these opportunities to participate in such fun and engaging incursions.

On Monday we celebrated Italian Day! A day full of pizza, pasta, tombola, crostoli and bocce. Not only did the students participate in fun Italian activities, but were also treated to an Italian Show called "La Comica" an hilarious show filled with Italian references.

On Tuesday the students participated in a whole school dance workshop! It was so fantastic to see everyone up on their feet dancing and getting involved in all the moves. There were plenty of smiles and laughs as they participated and Michaela from Kinect2dance kept everyone's spirit and energy up. Well done to all students who participated and showed some fantastic dance moves.

On Wednesday the students participated in KABOOM! A Sports Olympic Event! This was a highlight for the students, participating for their assigned country and showing great spirit getting involved in all the events. Students were dancing, singing, chanting and supporting each other as they hopped, skipped and jumped all the way to the gold medal. A big thank you to all staff that assisted on the day, it was a fantastic and active morning. 

A big thank you also to the parents association for providing the students with delicious fruit and veggie snacks this week! They have been very much appreciated by all students!
