Women in History exhibition

 

Accomplished women through time and across the globe could be found in the library or the Junior Learning Centre on Wednesday evening in the first week of term. 

 

It was the annual Year 7 Women in History exhibition.  Students created displays about a chosen women who has influenced society. Parents and family has the chance to view the information panels, artifacts and creative displays. The costumes as always were a stand out.

CASE Space Academy Holiday Camp 

Congratulations to the following Year 7 students that have been awarded a scholarship to attend the It’s a Mars Life CASE Space Academy Holiday Camp in the September holidays.

They will:

  • Learn about Mars, galactic farming, water systems, solar energy and what it would take for humans to thrive on Mars
  • Design a Mars colony 
  • Engage in immersive hands-on STEAM activities
  • Apply STEAM and Growth Mindset skills to solve real space challenges
  • Live NASA tour

I am sure they will enjoy their experience.

State Basketball Representative

Madi Ryan (year 8) represented Victoria Metro under 16s basketball in Perth in the July holidays. They played eight games over eight days and came second overall.
