MAG teachers are on show in Echuca-Moama Theatre Company’s new production!
Play On! – a comedy by Rick Abbot – is about a cash-strapped community theatre group desperately trying to put on a murder mystery play despite maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script.
Secondary teacher Kate Griffin takes on the role of director Gerry Dunbar, while fellow teacher Lauren Douglas portrays both Violet Imbry and Diana Lassister. It's a family affair for Kate Griffin, with her daughter Matilda (Year 7), lending a hand backstage.
The play will be performed at Echuca's The Foundry Arts Space on Murray Esplanade, with a total of five performances scheduled from 17th to 20th August. The venue seating is cabaret-style, accommodating tables of six or ten, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks to enjoy during the show.
It’ll be an entertaining and engaging experience for theater enthusiasts and comedy lovers alike!
