This week in Science, students have been continuing to explore how different objects move. 

VOCABULARY

Forces: a push or pull on an object.

Motion: any movement or change in position. 

Features: a distinctive attribute or aspect of something:

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Gather different objects that can roll ex: rolling pin, soft drink can, toy car, ball, blocks, etc. Sort the objects based on their features.

For example: a soft drink can, rolls on its side because it is shaped like a cylinder.
