Centenary Celebrations

Attention all Ringwood North Primary School (North Ringwood State School) families, staff and students - past and present. 2023 marks an extraordinary milestone in our school community’s long history. As part of our very special celebrations, we invite everyone to join us in reflecting on and celebrating the special role this school has played in so many family’s lives throughout the North Ringwood community.

On Saturday October 21st, our community will gather for the Ringwood North Family Festival. A great celebration of our school with offerings for the whole family. See our Festival website (http://www.ringwoodnorthps.vic.edu.au/ringwood-north-family-festival) and our Instagram & Facebook (@ringwoodnorthps) for further details.

On Tuesday October 24th we invite the community to join us as we mark 100 years exactly since the school opened. We are holding an Open Day with activities running from 9.30am through to 3.30pm before we gather at the school in the afternoon for a chance for alumni to mingle and catch up on good times with drinks and nibbles.

To help with the celebrations we are inviting anyone with the following to loan or donate these to the school:

  • photos that haven’t been shared with the school previously
  • Artefacts (pre-1990 preferred) and items of interest that can be displayed

We are also inviting anyone who would like to share an anecdote or a fond memory from their family’s time at the school.

Simply type or write your memory and email it to ringwood.north.ps@education.vic.gov.au OR post to PO Box 2312, Ringwood North VIC 3134 (or hand it in at the office if you still live nearby).

We would love to see members from many decades gathering together and invite you to extend this information to friends and family.
