'Aladdin Trouble' at Karralyka Theatre 

 Wow, what a show!  Our whole school production of ‘Aladdin Trouble’ was an absolute blast and we couldn’t be more proud of our students. A huge congratulations to all the students involved over the three nights.  Our students had been madly rehearsing since early term one, practising lines, perfecting their acting and nailing the song lyrics. It was fantastic to see all their hard work pay off!  RNPS school productions are always such a special event that our community have always held dear to our hearts.  It was great to see our vibrant community come together to support and celebrate our students.  An event like this requires the extraordinary collaboration of our teachers across the entire school, so a big thank you to everyone involved. 

Facilities Update

Last week, the first steps were taken in the installation of a new shade sail outside the Grade 1 & 2 building.  The posts have been securely installed and we eagerly anticipate the sail being raised over the next couple of weeks. In other exciting news, we are collaborating closely with teachers and students from Yarra Ranges Tech School in the redevelopment of various garden spaces within our school.  As part of their Community Project, Yarra Ranges Tech School students are in the process of constructing two circular bench seats to add to the Linc Up Garden outside the Grade 1 & 2 building.  They are also currently preparing the area behind the flag posts for a new memorial garden. Significant progress has already been made - pavers have been carefully uplifted, shrubs, rocks and tree stumps removed and plans are underway to establish a garden border using commemorative bricks.  Stay tuned for updates!

If you have friends, neighbours or family members whose children are starting school next year, please encourage them to choose RNPS. Each Prep enrolment in future years helps ensure the continued provision of programs and services for all students year-after-year.
