Avni, well done on showing such a positive attitude to your work this week! When counting number patterns in 2s, 5s and 10s up to 100 you always showed such focus and managed to explain what odd and even numbers were. Keep up the fantastic work! 

Well done Jonathan for showing the school values of respect and responsibility. You have been making lots of good choices to allow for good learning, and have been working so hard to focus, and produce your very best work. You have shown a respectful and responsible attitude in class time, and have contributed confidently to all class discussions this week. Keep up the good work Jonathan!!

Congratualtions Henry on describing the setting for your story so well. You used some awesome words which really made us feel that we were floating on an iceberg. You were able to tell us exactly how you felt while sitting on the ice. Great work.

Aavni, you always brighten up our classroom with your smile, kindness and positive attitude towards learning. This week you used your senses to write descriptive and entertaining sentences about the Fairy Land setting for your story. Congratulations!  

Well done Athulya for your excellent character description you wrote this week in your Writer's Notebook. You wrote detailed sentences to describe yourself as a character and used great word choice to help the reader really know what kind of person you are. Amazing work!

Well done Olivia for always taking such pride in all your learning tasks. Last week, you demonstrated how to use arrays, skip counting and known facts to solve multiplication problems. Thank you for being a generous and kind member of 3B, always offering to help others succeed. Congratulations!

Congratulations Steven on your fantastic writing this week. You have been able to put your ideas into sentences with correct spelling and punctuation. Well done on the terrific dialogue you created between the two characters in your play. Great work!

Congratulations Abhiyaan on your animated and creative participation in all speaking and listening tasks. You have a great understanding of all the skills required in reading aloud such as expression, intonation, smooth phrasing, fluency and volume. Your dedication towards interpreting character voices and body language has been very impressive and admired by the class. A Syndal South future Actor!

Congratulations Ashton on the improvements you have made this week with your expression and fluency when reading the script "Me First". You were able to show how you can scoop phrases to create fluency. Keep up the super work when reading aloud. 

Congratulations to Ivan for demonstrating good leadership skills during our excursion to Sovereign Hill. He showed this by being an active listener during our ‘Gold Fever’ lesson enabling him to respond well to questions asked. Ivan also worked hard to make sure that all members of his group participated in the ‘Mining for Gold’ role play, especially the students who are learning how to speak English. A great effort, Ivan! Keep it up!

Congratulations Tharuk on your positive efforts on our Sovereign Hill excursion. You involved yourself in every activity including the gold panning and Red Hill Mine experience. You also helped your group to win the Gold Licence activity by making sure everyone in your group had a gold licence. Well done!  

Congratulations on your outstanding sense of responsibility this week. You asked questions when you were unsure about a task and you were punctual for the excursion and worked well with your group throughout the day at Sovereign Hill. Well done, Kenod, keep up the great work!

Congratulations Selena, you did an amazing job as our Police Officer during our Goldfields Game at Sovereign Hill. I love how you are so easy going and happy to have a go at all activities. Keep up the great work Selena!

Rihaan demonstrated such beautiful craftsmanship when creating his bright and bold landscape watercolor for NAIDOC Week. He is such a creative, responsible and forward thinking artist. Rihaan takes care of his painting as well as all the art room supplies for his peers so beautifully. 

Gina is a true artist at heart and takes the greatest pride in her creations. Well done on using the art element of 'value' so delicately to show the 3D form in your cupcake drawing.
